POLICE STALL AT ILFORD TRAIN STATION

On Friday 23/01/2026 Dedicated ward officer 7039EA of Goodmayes ward Team took the campaign to raise awareness and take action to end violence against women and girls beyond the Goodmayes borders when in collaboration with PCSO Pow of Ilford town centre team mounted a police stall at the Ilford train station . In addition to raising awareness of VAWG that is Violence against women and girls ,we handed out leaflets and offered crime prevention advice .

We could not have asked for a better collaboration when customers and community ambassadors for the  Elizabeth train line supporting VAWG  joined us .As can be anticipated ,the turn out was great .As usual the train station was busy and so were commuters who attended the stall.

The effective collaboration is an initiative to combat violence against women , crime prevention and problem solving and making neighbourhoods safer. It was a success and our appreciation goes out to everyone who took the time to attend the police stall.
